Evaluating classroom interaction with the iPad®: An updated Stalling’s tool

Abstract
The Stalling’s classroom observation tool (Stallings & Kaskowitz 1974) has been modified and supplemented with qualitative observation scales. In an effort to promote efficiency of observation and data collection, the tool has been reconfigured as an iPad® application. The pilot study described herein has established that the tool has both a good measure of reliability and validity.
